Postica + TwitterTwitter is a popular microblogging service that allows users to send quick updates (140 characters or less) through IM, SMS or the website. Twitter also has a feature that allows you to send direct messages to other users. By adding
postica as a friend you will be able to stick notes via direct messaging on twitter - a pretty cool little service.

Getting StartedIf do not have a Twitter account, you'll need to sign up for one. Next you will need to add postica as your friend on Twitter (you can do this by either clicking the 'add' link on postica's profile page, or sending the message 'follow postica' to Twitter). Then you will enter your twitter username in the signup box above - that's it.

Using Direct MessagesIn order to put a new sticky note on postica send a direct message to your friend postica on twitter with what you would like the note to say. For example:
Call Jen tonight - would create a yellow note with the specified text
If you're sending a message to Twitter via SMS or IM or the web update box, remember to add d postica before your note text to indicate that it's a direct message. For example:
d postica Pay rent cheque on July 1st
Other OptionsWhen sending a new sticky note you can specify the color for the note. For example:
@b Order tickets for concert - create blue note with the specified text
@w Take car in for service - create a white note with the specified text

- @r - red note
- @g - green note
- @b - blue note
- @w - white note
- @p - purple note
